
why is it important?

I chose to talk about these two important topics due to the high impact they have on the organizations and their employees, EEO and diversity don’t only effect the organizations, but they also have an impact on the employee himself, they can effect the employee in many levels, for example being judged by your ethnicity, religion, skin-color or sexuality can decrease your self-confidence, motivation, self-love, and self-esteem too, it can make the employee in the workforce become less productive, less interested and less motivated too. hiring people from every kind and every location will show how much the company values skills and talents the most,
giving the opportunity for people to embrace their own knowledge can help the company grow and become more successful. Being protected by laws from discrimination has helped many companies in raising awareness and creating a more positive work environment too. working with teams that contain different people can allow having different perspectives and opinions which can also enhance creativity and innovation in the workforce.
Diversity and EEO give every employee the opportunity to develop and grow, and I believe that every manager or leader can help them by understanding what their wants and needs are, a strong reputation will be built depending on the cultural values of the company, so if the companies’ values strengthen the communication and bonds in the workforce, then this means the company is moving in the right track, finally, I believe inclusion is one of the most important factors to have in the workforce, and it results in making you love what you do which makes you want to keep developing more and more.
